Just around the corner from the other trailhead is this gated trailhead. This is where it really begins.

Creek

Here is a small creek that you cross. From the look of the creeks around here it would seem that they are all seasonal creeks.

Shady Oaks

There are quite a few Oak Trees around here. This is the first significantly shaded stretch of trail.
