Golden Trout Wilderness

Entering the Golden Trout Wilderness.

River Crossing

The South Fork Trail goes off to the left about 30 feet past this river crossing. It is an unmaintained trail and there's a log marking the Cottonwood Lakes Trail path that blocks this trail, but it is plainly visible.

Cabin

This is a very rustic cabin that is not fit for camping in. I don't know how old it is but I like to imagine that it is a remnant of the frontier days.

First Meadow

Here is the first meadow you come to along the South Fork Trail.

Second Meadow

A great view of the mountains above the next meadow.

New Army Pass

A little farther along looking up towards New Army Pass.
