Directions:
From Highway 395 turn west onto Highway 120 (Tioga Road). From Yosemite Valley take Big Oak Flat Road to Highway 120 and turn right. Once you arrive in Tuolumne Meadows you will park in the backpacker parking lot. There may be backpacker parking closer to Tenaya Lake. If not you can take the free shuttle to the trailhead.

General Notes and Observations:
All the High Sierra Camps have beds, backcountry gourmet meals, clean bathrooms, and all but two camps have showers with warm water. However badly you want to "get away from it all" there is no shame in visiting a High Sierra Camp -- if you can afford it.



We did this as part of a ranger led group since it was the only way to get a night at every camp. If you do this ask for Ranger Dave (aka Danger Rave).
